The first page begins: 'MINUTES OF PROCEEDINGS of a Deputation of Representatives of the Universities of the United Kingdom and of certain other institutions doing work of University standard, which waited upon the President of the Board of Education (the Right Honourable H. A. L. Fisher, M.P.) and the Chancellor of the Exchequer (the Right Honourable A. Bonar Law, M.P.) on Saturday, the 23rd November, 1918, at 11 a.m. at the Office of the Board of Education, King Charles Street, Whitehall, London, S.W.' The contributions of Fisher, Bonar Law, Lodge, MacAlister and others are reported. Scarce: the only copies on COPAC or OCLC WorldCat at the London Library, and the Universities of Oxford and St Andrews.
