Written out by Yonge on both sides of a card, and placed in an envelope with penny lilac stamp and postmarks, addressed by Yonge to 'Miss Marcironi [sic] | 126 Adelaide Road | London | NW'. In fair condition, lightly-aged, the card with central horizontal and vertical folds. Yonge begins: 'My dear Anna | Please come with Aimée on Wednesday - This will answer her - as she is away, and then you can look up the State Trial (happily I know where it is) I can't see though any mention of the place of the trial, except that it was at Winchester - but then I have only glanced at the beginning and end'. The card continues with references to 'Miss Muney', 'the Agenda', 'the Statistics' and 'Miss Finlaison', the last of whom 'will be to the fore on Wednesday'.
