1p., 12mo. With mourning border. In fair condition, aged and ruckled, with good impression of seal in black wax. Laid down on part of a leaf from an album, with the letter's envelope (addressed by Nemours to 'Captain Hankey R.N. | Fetcham park | Fetcham') placed beneath it. The letter reads: 'The Duke of Nemours presents his compliments to captain Hankey and begs to enclose a contribution for the Surrey Union Fox-hounds, in hunting with which he felt much gratified.'
