1p., 12mo. In good condition, on lightly-aged paper, with slight spotting to extremities. A candidate for the recipient of the letter is David Thomson, whom Doyle wrote was 'photographing me writing at my table' in South Norwood on 18 November 1891, and had Conan Doyle write to him and other friends about asking at a library for "Micah Clarke" (revealed in his letter of 26 Feb. 1889, to Mary Doyle).
