Cathcart's paper 'The Earliest Contributions to the Decipherment of Sumerian and Akkadian' (2011). Murray writes that the editor of the Quarterly Review (either William Macpherson, before 1867, or William Smith) has written to him 'that he considers the Interpretation of the Cuneiform wording a proper subject for a paper in the Quarterly'.
