2pp., 12mo. In good condition, lightly aged and worn, with the slightest smudging at the foot of the first page. Mansel is not named, but the letter comes from his papers, and contains references to the family estate at Maesycrugiau, and Mansel's ancestor Maurice de Londres. The first paragraph reads: 'My dear “Proud Welshman,” | For so I like to think of you, & not as a descendant of Maurice de Londres!
