LETTER: 2pp., landscape 8vo. In good condition, lightly aged. A sprightly missive, beginning: 'My dear, | Fidelity like yours shakes me; book after book, year after year. I'm truly appreciative. | On me dachshunds sit: sometimes two at a time, and they are heavy. Arbitrary, too: if I try to use them as props to a book or a writing pad they shuffle and stir and upset everything.' She informs her that she has become grandmother for a second time: 'This time a boy, born in August.
