Bifolium, addressed, with seal in red wax and postmarks, to 'Thos Cadell Esqr | Bookseller | Strand | London'. In fair condition, aged and worn. He begins by explaining 'the circumstances in consequence of wh' the writing of the present letter 'has been so long delay'd'.
