Four pages, 4to, unbound (signs of extraction so probably bound into a periodical as advertisement), 1" closed tear both leaves repaired, mainly good condition. He discusses his lectures at King's, gives illustrations (eg ichthyosuarus, ammonite, etc), describes the informative collections he is able to supply, describes books available (by his predecessor, Mawe; material re minerology, conchology ("inherited Mrs. Mawe's extensive collection"; [ornamental works of art] Italian alabasters; Black Marble Ornaments; mosaics; Bronzes, spar; models of fossils), concluding with "List of Models [...] Teeth and Bones of the Iguanadon, Hylaeosaurus, and Gavial, discovered by Mr Mantell [...]" AND "Sopwith's Geological Models". His final advertisement is for his forthcoming book, "An Elementary Treatise on Mineralogy". Note: Perhaps Tennant is best remembered for his supervision of the cutting of the Koh-i-Noor.
