Booklet, 42pp., 12mo, brown printed paper wraps, corner of front missing (loss of word and 5 or 6 letters from imprint), some staining, chipping and tears of covers , mainly intact, bottom corner of pages turned, contents mainly good condition. In a brief Preface teh Author explains that he gace a saeries of lectures in Holmfirth "on the Currency, and a new way of paying the National Debt", saying that "He was then opposed by the Chartists, who argued that nothing could be done to benefit the industrious classes until the Charter had been made the law of the land. Since then he has been often importuned by his friends to condense his ideas into as small a compass as possible." Hence this booklet. COPAC lists copies at the NLS, BL and Oxford.
