One page, 4to, fold marks, staining, text faint in parts: "Mr dear Sir// I have looked partially over Shakespear [underlind] and also taxed my recollection, but have not been able to find any passage exactly applicable to your <?> of the late King in the following extract from Milton [underlined]'s Samson Agonistes - not only exquisitely beautiful, but in my opinion, quite in Character with the picture - and what is better, I do not recollect ever to have Seen it quoted [underlined] before - I have taken it from the first Edition in 1671 - and have copied it exactly in the metrical form [phrase underlined] in which it appears -" Verso: 10 lines copied out by Daniel "O dark, dark ... interlunar cave."- / Milton.-"Hazlitt's "Roll of Honour": "A most extraordinary collection of rare Elizabethan literature formed at a period of bibliophobia."
