Newbery, including a manuscript account of the [Chiswick] Press and a typewritten chronology by him, an address by him titled 'Picture Making' and a booklet of 'Interesting Facts' about the firm."). Judging by these two volumes concerning Purchases, he tried his hand at publishing at a time when there were all sorts of shortages and difficulties. The BLC lists only ten titles published by him. These volumes give insights into the many aspects of publishing involved in the business.
