Text: In answer to your note, I beg to inform you that the Commissioners of Sewers (to whom my report was addressed) printed it for distribution among the members of the Corporation exclusively. | I fear that whatever few copies may have been struck off, over and above those required for this purpose, must [?] now have been exhausted: - but,if any remain, a line addressed to Mr Daw principal Clerk to the Commission, Guildhalwould, I doubt not, procure a copy for any gentleman interested in the subject. They are not for sale. Note: See DNB, including: Simon made to the general board of health several valuable and comprehensive reports : on the relation of cholera to London water supply (1856), on vaccination (1857), on the sanitary state of the people of England (1858), and on the constitution of the medical profession (1858).
