Admiral. Three pages, 4to, a substantial letter, damage at point of seal, but mainly good condition, text cleara nd complete. "I am much astonished & disappointed that you have paid the attention I expected to my pressing letters respecting the valuation of the Personalty at Kedleston and that in consequence you have allowed the day to pass fixed for the Payment without yet having ever transmitted to me the terms of the agreement, or the sum to be paid. He considers the implications of this. He reminds him of his appointments of valuers of the personalty and a letter from him informing him that Mr Upton "had agreed to pay you for the personalty at Michaelmas, but that you could not get the account from him" and discusses a later letter anticipating a meeting which he would like to hear about. "I cannot get any certain intelligence as yet which were the survivors of the "Trustees", but am rather apprehensive from what I can learn that it was Sir T. Drake, & I believe that family are extinct at least the Baronetcy is." He suggests a way of getting information. "Miss Julia Curzon requests you will be good enough to pay the remainder of her debts at Derby . . ." He gives more information about her finances., finally listing her debts, a list of bills including a bookseller (Pritchard) Mrs Parker (jeweller) Saunders (shoemaker). A postscript discusses a bill of his mother's.
