See his entry in the Oxford DNB. 9 x 5.5 cm rectangle cut from front of envelope. In good condition, lightly aged, laid down on part of leaf from album, with the following in a contemporary hand: ‘R. Owen. the naturalist’. Light postmarking over address. Reads as follows: ‘Wm. Gregson, Esq: / 2 Tanfield Court, / Temple.’ Small signature at bottom left: ‘R. Owen.’ See image.
