Three panels, bound in green morocco gt, , of which, when unfolded, the central one, c.32 x 25cm, faded and foxed, comprises the following invitation: "Nelson Centenary | Mr. Thomas J. Barratt | Will be pleased if C.Gilbert Whitehead [in MS] will join him at Dinner [ Image of eighteenth century friends (by dress) enjoying a convivial and elaborate dinner around presumably a mahogany table/tree ] || Around the Old Mahogany Tree | On February The Ist October 1905 at 8 O'Clock | RSVP Bellmoor Hampstead Heath".
