Murray, President of the Club and Past President of Essex Amateur Golf Union, among other achievments in the sport. With additional pages bound in, the first being an illuminated page in fine colours giving the information about the presentation and John J. Murray's achievements (also including Holder of the Course Record | 66), followed by six leaves with signtures of club members on recto (verso blank) with two additional blank leaves.
