"I have not yet received Bindley's 3d Catalogue - you must send me the Letter to Mr Peel by one of his Constituents - and Campbell's British Poets, when published - I shall be in Town Tomorrow (Saturday) & can bring any parcel down with me - you must also get me The Sacred at Black Kingsbury Parbury & Allen's [Brown says partners as this between 1819-1822] - I also wish you to find if such there be, an Edition of Gulliver's Travels independent of Swift's other works, the more modern the better, & have it bound in the same manner with Munchausen's Travels. It is for our second Boy. // I wish to have a Copy of Memoirs of the Duke of Kent sold at Egerton's, untrimmed[.] I have one with f[fore?] edges cut, but I require one uncut for a particular purpose[.] You may have the inclosed note for <??> at Egerton's." William Miller, see Brown] who offered them to Sir John, "a perfect Set of the Agricultural Surveys of England & Wales in 47 vols. half Bound ["28/" in superscript - different hand?],- Russia Backs, the price £50- The Agricultural Surveys of Scotland 23 vols. ["20/0/0" in superscript - in a different hand?] bound uniform price £25 - and the Annals of Agriculture 46 vols complete, uniform with the Surveys- price £33.10 -" The Scotch Surveys can be made up - I wish you to look at these, & give me your fair opinion as soon as you can as to the rarity, the condition & the value of these Works at Mr Millar's all of which I ought to have - yours &c ."
