Both letters one page, 4to, good condition. A. 13 August 1952, text: I have recently hired for the summer session several new computers, who will probably continue through the first semester as well. It is doubtful that I will have sufficient funds to add another before the second semester, and quite possibly not even then. Other members of the Department might possibly need assistance after they return for the fall semester, but I am only guessing at this.
