2.5pp., 12mo, bifolium (loss of presumed blank part of second leaf), one or two marks, mainly good. He has been consulted by Wyatt's patient, H.E. Webb, andf thought it would be best to write to him. "The quantity & colours of the urine leads one to suspect diabetes, but my close chemiical examination does not confirm that suspicion at present - then he has many symptoms of enlarged prostate but his reluctance to [sic] my examination leaves that question in the dark - I do not think [this?] could be stone - but it would make his case more clear if an instrument were introduced - there seems however a cruelty in urging such a step in his present state of mind - | Upon the whole I feel most disposed to treat him as if diabetic - and we would give most attention to the stomach and bowels. You will see a prescription I have written for him ..." The full first name, Arthur Wyatt, and his address at St Barts, appears on another letter in the same batch as this.
