Both items are in good condition, on lightly-aged paper. Each is in its original envelope, with typed address to Cobbing at 262 Randolph Avenue, London. First Letter: 1p., 8vo. He does not 'object to the publication of "Descartes metamorphosis': 'I am looking forward to the record and some other news. What will be the price of were [sic] not high, I should buy another specimen for my friends from my royalties.' Striking bold 13 x 16 cm design in black at foot of page, somewhat like a melted anthropomorphic letter H. Letter Two: 1p., folio (42 x 21 cm). He is sorry that 'news from Wyoming is not one of the gayest'. He thanks Cobbing for 'the tcheque', and hopes that 'after certain procedures it will be payed'. He would like to 'send some tape [sic] for the exhibition to Amsterodam [sic] /probably visual poems of mine will be exhibited there/'. At present he has 'no possibility to work with the stereo-technique', but will send something if he manages to make it. If he cannot get to Amsterdam, he would like to go to Stockholm. 'What are you preparing now?' Striking 19 x 18 cm textpiece in blue ink at foot of page, its 'melting' lettering reading 'DEAR BOB / SINCERE / GREETING'. With Jiri Kolar and Josef Hirsal formed the first Czech Group of Experimental Poetry.
