To John Williamson, 25th Regt: 5 Autograph Letters Signed "Alex[ander] Adair" Army Agent with 'extensive business' (of Pall Mall, London, and Flixton Hall; obit. Gent.Mag. 1834, 1794-5, total 10pp., 4to, concerning Williamson's financial affairs.2. Alexander Adair's Accounts submitted to Williamson, 5 items, 10pp., mainly fol., 1783-1795, 3 signed by Adair, the others by people on his behalf, giving incomings and outgoings of Williamson, including various incomes, purchases and payments made on his behalf (epaulettes, postage, 'baggage and forage', 'allowance to surgeon', 'freight of a trunk to Marseilles', 'allowance to subaltern', bank payments and withdrawals, etc.3. [Gibraltar]Williamson's own detailed Accounts (in his hand) while serving under Capt. then Major St Clair in Gibraltar, 14pp., 12mo, 1783-94 (pay, surgeon's allowance, arrears for earlier years, balance of account with Alexander Adair, cash for furniture, 'gave a Bill on Mr Adair' many times, etc.).4. List of soldiers in Company] "Roll of Captn John Williamson's Comp[an]y of Light Infantry 27 November 1793", 2pp., 40 x 16cm (something of a scroll), 52 privates listed, 10 NCOs and Drummers, adding "Wanting to Compleat 29 | Total Establishment 81". Presumably part of the sale of Williamson's commission.7. [MS.] Deed of Trust, Capt. John Williamson to Alex. Williamson (1794), 16pp., fol. Note about Testator's death added (of Lawhill, Clackmananshire).8.
