Disbound,[iii]-viii; 9-40, presumably lacking hf-title in binding, minor foxing, good condition. WITH: A Statement by a Charles Crump about the manufacturing process (using oil of vitriol etc) and sale procedure for "Salts in Mr Henry Thompson's Manufactory of Salts at Cheltenham", witnessed by Adam Neale and sworn before Jame Clutterbuck, one page. folded, attached to Neale's pamphlet. Four or so copies of Neale's pamphlet on COPAC. The addition is untraced. This item derives from a volume of pamphlets, carelessly unbound, previously intact in a Bonham's Sale, a volume from the Library of Henry Drury, friend of Byron, on the front endpaper of which is inscribed by Drury "coll.perf. | H.Drury. Harrow.| 1823.c.135.3", AND in Drury's hand also, "In this Volume are contained || W. Scott's Halidon Hill. Edinburgh. 1822. | Harroviensis on Lord Byron. London. 1822. | Lord Byron on Bowles.
