From the papers of the noted gunsmith C. Harry Lawrence (c.1900-1984), Managing Director of James Purdey & Sons, London, and inscribed to him: 'Harry - with best wishes and much esteem from your friends at Eley | Richard '. Loosely inserted is a photocopied table, headed: 'Proposed table 10 for guns of new manufacture & conforming to European standardisation of shotgun cartridges 1962'. Scarce: no copy on COPAC, and the only copy on OCLC WorldCat at the University of Alberta.
