Full title: 'Catalogue of a Miscellaneous Collection of Modern Useful Books, many in choice bindings, the greater portion the Property of a Gentleman leaving England, also some interesting Archaeological Manuscripts, by William Bromet, Esq., M.D., F.S.A.' 15pp., 12mo. Unbound and side-stitched pamphlet. Aged, worn and grubby. 308 lots. Lot 181 is 'Caumont (M. de) Histoire del' Architecture au Moyen Age, some manuscript memorandums and illustrations added by the late Dr. Bromet | Caen, 1838'. Lot 282 is 'Archaeological Notes, Memoranda, Drawings, Sketches, and Papers on Antiquarian Researches, by the late William Bromet, M.D. | a large parcel'. Other lots - for example a run of 'Archaeologia' - appear to have come from Bromet's library. Also of interest is 281: 'Buonaparte. Catalogo di Scelte Antichita Etrusche trovate negli Scavi del Principo di Canino, with some drawings and Manuscript Notes by James Millingen Viterbo, 1829'. The Bromet Collections, mostly relating to Windsor and Berkshire, are now owned by the Society. romet was surgeon to the 1st Regiment Life Guards.
