A total of 10pp., 12mo. Neatly written out in a close mid-Victorian hand. Accompanied by a slip of paper carrying a list of the eight sections into which the items in the 'Largest Box' were divided. Three of the eight are lacking. The five sections present are: '2 French Medals', '3 French Medals', '5 Medals of Various Countries', '7 French Sovereigns | Members of the Bourbon Family | French Statesmen.', and '8 Napoleon and his Family. | Napoleon's Generals.' The items in two of the sections (2 and 5) are listed by the rows in which they were displayed, and all the items, with the exception of those from section 7, date from the Revolutionary and Napoleonic periods. The entries give simple details, sometimes with inscriptions, for example, in Section 2, item 4 in row 2: 'Je pleure le passé. j'espère en l'avenir. A la mémoire des Bourbons qui ont péri sous le fer des assassins.'
