English physician specialising in tropical medicine (1881-1966). Both 1 page, 16mo. Both dusty but in good condition. The first on blue paper the second on light green. In the first letter he says he is 'glad to be able to report that my paper has been written & is now being typed out. He says the paper 'should be in your hands by Monday next. I have had rather a hectic time as I have had a lot of writing to do.' In the second letter he thanks Epps for his letter '& my copy of the "Naturalist". I would like to congratulate you once [sic] the general set-up of the journal & for the excellence of its contents which speak well for the general Editorship'. His secretary would like a copy.
