Fifty full-page facsimiles of title-pages, etc. Foreword by Benedict, followed by Resume, beginning, 'The Collection of Laws belonging to Judge Russell Benedict, [...] is the Most Important Collection of its kind that has ever been brought together by a private party. Its interest centers not alone in its legal sphere, but also around the historical events of the most fascinating periods in American History.' Followed by a two-page list of 'Names of 17th and 18th century American printers with date of their work as represented' in the collection, including William Bradford, Benjamin Franklin, Hugh Gaine, James Parker, W.
