The first paragraph reads 'I BEG to inform you that you will be [last two world replaced by 'are'] of standing to take the degree of M.A. next [last word replaced by 'this'] term, and that if you wish to take it on the earliest day you must be in Cambridge on the morning of ['Thursday April 21'] at the latest, in order to pay your fees in person, and sign the Registrary's book at his Rooms in Trinity College [last five words replaced by 'the Pitt Press'], between the hours of 10 and 12, before the Congregation of that day. The Registrary particularly begs the favour of early attendance.' Gives financial details and dates of Congregations. Postscript reads 'You will find it convenient to preserve this.'
