Printed on the inside of the front wrap is the following: 'A Catalogue and description of the Charities belonging to the Parish of Westbury, in the County of Salop, compiled by order of the Parish Council, from the old boards (now falling to decay) that formerly hung in the Church, and were many years ago removed to the belfry - and from a book kept by the late Rector - and from other sources.' Gives details of benefactions on five tablets (including 'The Moors' and 'Whitton Rent Charge'), together with 'The Moors Charity', 'Hilhouse's Charity', 'Parr's Charity', 'Winsley Cottages', 'Asterley School Fund - Dated 1872', 'Topp's Charity'. At end, in type: 'Signed on behalf of the Committee of the Parish Council of Westbury, | J. E. SEVERNE, Chairman. R. D. BROMLEY, Vice-Chairman. W. R. CROFT, Clerk. 23rd October, 1896.'
