In fair condition, aged and worn, with rust-spotting from staple. Entries range from '24" wall next Lake Road of Langdale Rag Stone with selected stones for facing in mortar & including footings' to 'In stone walls girth of Main Quoins included. Openings exceeding 4' - 6" in width deducted. Brickwork openings deducted.' Total of estimate: £3430 13s 1d. TWO: Titled: 'Bill of Quantities for a New Police Station at Windermere for the Westmoreland Standing Joint Committee. | Excavating, drainage, walling, slating etc. etc.' 18pp., folio, with extra title, on leaves held together with stud and placed in grey card wraps with title replicated on front cover. Entries range from 'Sup of 6" cement concrete to ceilings of Cells, add for all centring and strike when directed - (R.S. joists before given) and allow for forming No. 3 openings 9" diameter in last to receive Electric light fitments' to 'Allow for breaking through existing wall in Craig Walk for new gateway. Quoin up and build No. 2 dwarf piers on top of present wall, say 2' - 0" x 1' - 6" and 24" high in cement mortar. Cope piers with Hawes coping, 3" thick, projecting an inch all round. Provide and build in No 2 gudgeons for iron gate hangings.' Total of estimate: £4556 2s 2d.
