4pp., folio. Bifolium. Text clear and complete on aged and spotted paper. Addressed 'To the Grand Committee, | St. Thomas's Hospital.' An interesting document, in small print, describing in great detail Currey's principles behind the design of the design of the hospital, from 'Water Closets, Lavatories, and Bath Rooms' to 'Administration Block'. The hospital is now said to have been designed in the 'Pavilion Style', but Currey begins the present document by stating that it is to be 'arranged on the "Block System," as best adapted for Hospital purposes, and specially suitable for the land on which the Hospital is to be erected'. A scarce document: no other copy traced, either on OCLC WorldCat or on COPAC.
