Folio, 4 pp. Text clear and complete. Fair, on lightly-aged and creased paper. The complete address, beneath an engraved royal crest, reads: 'To the Guardians of the Poor of the several Unions and Incorporations named in the Schedule hereunto annexed; - | To the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the several Parishes and Places comprised within the said Unions and Incorporations respectively; - | To the Clerk or Clerks to the Justices of the Petty Sessions held for the Division or Divisions in which the said Unions and Incorporations are situate; - | To the Tresurers of the said Unions and Incorporations respectively; - | And to all others whom it may concer.' With embossed 'Seal of the Poor Law Commissioners' on orange paper on the last page, besides facsimiles of the signatures of George Nicholls, G. C. Lewis and Edmund W. Head. Altering 'the payment of the salaries of the Officers', and with pp.3-4 carrying a schedule, in double-column, of the 'Names of the Unions and Incorporations' and 'Dates of the Orders firstly above referred to'.
