The collection is in fair condition, on aged and worn paper. Geall's pamphlet is 12pp., 12mo, and stapled. The only copies on OCLC WorldCat at Harvard Medical School and Cape Town. The back page carries a letter by Geall to an unnamed individual [ Marcus Adams ], dated 17 January 1954. The handbill advertisement for the Leicester Institute of Mental Science is 4pp., 12mo., on a bifolium. The other two letters, each on Geall's letterhead, are both 1p., 4to. The first (2pp., 12mo), dated 10 June 1954, is addressed to the photographer Marcus Adams, and the second (1p., 12mo), dated 28 March 1955, to E. Newcomb. In the first of the two he invites Adams to a lecture, adding: 'I enclose a photo which fulfills all that is required for Photographic delineation as you have stated. A good full face and side view. indicating Breadth, Depth or Height, and Length. Length is important to allow for estimate of control over feelings, instincts, by the intellect & morals [...] No doubt you could do similar as required'. He continues in the same vein. In the second letter he thanks Adams, through Newcomb, for recommending him to 'Mrs Inood of Northampton'.
