[28]pp., 4to. Stapled into grey printed wraps. Illustrated with photographs; centrepage spread of matching tables giving 'Weekly Potato Shipments' from Tasmania to Sydney, in 1937 and 1956. On glossy art paper. Both prospectus and inserts in fair condition, on lightly aged and worn paper. Stamp of the Van Diemen's Land Company on front cover, with ownership inscription 'C. C. Carter'. 'The object of this issue is to provide funds for the establishment of a shipping company: | (a) To relieve the severe congestion of outward freight from Tasmanian ports; | (b) To assist in the transportation of the annual Tasmanian potato crop at regular intervals to the mainland of Australia; and | (c) For the carriage by the Company's ships to and from such ports as the Directors may from time to time determine of such other commodities and products as the Directors may from time to time determine.' Accompanying the prospectus are two copies of a 'Form of Application for Ordinary Share', 2pp., 4to. Each with stamp of Roland Walton & Co., Stock & Sharebrokers, 66 Pitt Street, Sydney. Neither has been filled out.
