Jacquess of London to which this is a reply is also included, with the leaf from the Radio Times, 5 May 1979, carrying the play's listing: 'In 1845 John Henry Newman, co-founder and leading spirit of the Oxford Movement within the Church of England, suddenly and dramatically decided to become a Roman Catholic. It was a decision that shocked not only intellectuals, but virtually the whole of English society.' No other copy traced.
