1p, foolscap 8vo. In good condition, on watermarked laid paper. In fair condition, lightly aged and creased and chipped at edges. Folded twice. A printed form in a grid headed (with Bunting's autograph in square brackets): 'WEEKLY RETURN of the Sick and Wounded of His Majesty's [Sloop Comet] between [4th] Day of [September 1811] and the [11th.] Day of [September], employed in [at Sea]'. A grid of nine columns, from 'Disease' to 'Invalided' (subdivided into 'Harbour Duty' and 'Unserviceable'.

Printed on one side of a piece of vellum, 19 x 20 cm. With two government stamps but lacking the Archbishop's seal. Copy of grant of administration to Walsh's daughter Philis, the estate being sworn under three hundred pounds. Mention made of Walsh's two other daughters, Katharine and Margaret. Ostensibly written on behalf of the Archbishop of Canterbury by George Gostling, James Townley and Robert Dodwell, Deputy Registers.

Small quarto of around forty pages, covered in easily in excess of a hundred press cuttings, primarily relating to lightning strikes, thunder storms and other natural phenomena. Internally loose but in reasonable condition, but externally in need of attention: the heavily worn original quarter-binding, has the leather spine worn away. Manuscript label, in Liddell's hand, laid down on the marbled front board. Several of the cuttings reproduce letters from Lidddell himself, the first, dated 'Bodmin, Dec.
