In fair condition, lightly aged and worn. Folded for postage. She begins by asking for a favour, explaining that she has had ?a most lovely present from my G. F. S. [Girls? Friendly Society] Associates Members in Peterboro Diocese, of 50 volumes of books - and there being a little money over, I want to have a simple letter book plate printed to glue into these - all I want to know if you would be so kind as to design it for me. I only want the Coronet & initials - and ?Presented to Louisa, Lady Knightley of Fawsley, by the Associates & Members of the Girls? Friendly Society in the Diocese of Peterborough. - 1904.? (The recipient has added line breaks to the inscription.) She supposes ?one could get it done at the stores?. She asks her to visit when she goes up to 110 Eaton Square, London. ?I want very much to see you & hear how you are getting on - and if you are comfortable at Fopstone Road? as I feel rather responsible.? She urges her to come down in the same week, as ?a breakfast trin from Woodford gets you up 10.30.?
