TWO: Typed 'Specification of Ambulance Body to be securely attached in an approved manner to Vulcan One Ton Chasis. As shown on the blue print attached.' By 'Engineer's Dept., Town Hall, Chiswick.' Dated 1 May 1923. 2pp., 8vo. THREE to FIVE: Two large blueprints (both roughly 65 x 95 cm) and one smaller blueprint (roughly 22 x 55 cm). SIX: Typed 'Specification of "Vulcan" 20/25 cwt. Chasis' by 'The Vulcan Motor and Engineering Co., (1906) Ltd. Southport - England', dated to February 1923. 1p., 8vo. With manuscript deletions. Founded by brothers Thomas and Joseph Hampson, Vulcan made cars from 1902 until 1928 and commercial vehicles until 1953. By 1918 it was sufficiently successful to buy Stockport Football Club, renaming it Stockport Vulcan. By 1928 the firm was in financial difficulties, going into receivership three years later.
