He is 'willing to undertake the office' under the rules mentioned: 'the two theatres you mention shall invariably be noticed - also the Panorama'. He undertakes 'to write such articles for your Magazine as shall really be of assistance to its readers seeking dramatic amusement - and shall also be impartial criticisms [...] It will be my aim to present a faithful reflex of the entertainments at the leading theatres - as there seems no reason why a literary periodical should not to some extent be a Dramatic Censor so to speak'. He would like his initials placed at the foot of the article, but 'if however it has always been anonymous - so be it.'
