4pp, 12mo. Bifolium of grey paper. In good condition, lightly aged. He informs him that his eldest daughter Fanny is to be married to Dr Arthur Whitelegge, and that the couple are 'earnestly desirous that you should write them “in holy bonds” […] It is intended that the wedding should take place in the morning of Saturday the 14th of March, & in accordance with the express wish of the Principals at an early hour & in the simplest form, the bride being in travelling dress & in quitting the Church starting at once for the very brief holiday the bridegroom will have at his disposal – It is of course proposed that the ceremony should take place at St Margaret's where both have been frequent attendants'.
