An interesting military document, financing the British Army in the aftermath of the 1715 Jacobite Rebellion. Reads: 'Excheqr. Aprill 26th. 1716 | Receiv'd from the Rt. Honble. Sr. Richd. Onslow - One of the Tellers of his Maties. Exchequer the Sum of Twenty five thousand four hundred & Twelve Pounds five Shillgs. & Six pence - in part of an order dated Febry. 8th.
