On 5.5 x 8.5 cm piece of paper, laid down on a piece of card which also bears a strip of paper with the printed text 'Dr. Rajendra Prasad, President of the Indian Republic'. In good condition, lightly aged. At the head of the slip Prasad has written his signature in Hindi script; beneath this he has written 'Rajendra Prasad | - 4. 4. 52 -'. There are two dots to the 'j' of Rajendra, and another dot above the 's' of 'Prasad'. Prasad had been elected President on 26 January of the same year as this signature.
