The letter begins: 'My Dear Sir, | I beg to introduce my friend Mr. Walker to you as he is frequenting the Leeds Anniversary Meeting of the Association'.

The author has added "With compliments" to the top of the first (cover) page, and changed some things. On p.[1] he excises "Jacone" and adds "Cerruti" in the margin. He has also made changes to the Table ("Var.II" is expanded to "B.ceylonensis B, and all the "AGs" are corrected to "AC"
