The other side of the paper carries the usual printed text, regarding a payment to 'Rt. Honourable George Viscount Torrington, in Repayment of Loan on the Eighth 2s. Aid, Anno 1724.'

It begins: 'The operations of the last three months have forced the enemy to sue for an armistice as a prelude to peace. | Your share in the consummation of this achievement is one that fills me with pride and admiration.
