Novr. 1862'. Signed at foot. In two fourteen-line stanzas. Chorus: 'Dreams dreams all dreams | Sorrow is real and all else seems'. Containing several minor emendations. Begins: 'Sitting alone - musing alone | With a click of coral in the dull red glow | Only heard with the low deep moan | Of the wintry wind o'er a waste of snow'. Apparently unpublished, but see Blanchard's "Life and Letters": "14th [December 1862]. To Olympic ; see Camilla's Husband .- 1 a good piece. 20th. Make a fair copy of pantomime for Drury. Send off a short poem to Tom Hood, called 'Phantasmagoria.' 28th. To Drury, and see Bohemian Girl: Miss Hills the debutante."
