On 7 x 11 cm strip of paper, cut from the conclusion of a letter. In fair condition, lightly aged and folded once, with panel of discoloration on reverse, which is endorsed: 'Dr Abercrombie | Jan. 31. | 1843'. Reads: '[…] unite in best regards. | Sincerely & affectly. Yours | John Abercrombie'.

Each letter 1p., 4to. The collection in fair condition, on aged and worn paper. Two items with the Society's stamp. The first three items from 1930, relate to the appointment of a chairman for a 'meeting in March' by Abercrombie at the Society. On 28 November he suggests the Bishop of Chichester, 'who as Dean of Canterbury worked in very close co-operation with me, or Lady Milner'. He next (11 December) suggests 'Lord Cornwallis of the Kent County Council, who is also a member of the East Kent Committee'.

2pp., 12mo. In fair condition, aged and worn. On a bifolium, docketed with the date on the second leaf. He writes that he has 'taken Trinity Grove', and that he has 'looked at your grass at Denham Green - and found it has been so neglected that it is scarcely good for any thing - We will see how it looks by the time we go down'. His daughter 'thinks she will try to keep the cow, on the lawn of Trinity Grove, assisted by cabbage leaves &ct from the Garden'.
