He is 'extremely concerned to hear that Mrs Harington & her children are insufficiently provided for', and while he would be happy to unite with her friends 'in any direct effort on her behalf', as far as obtaining an apartment at Hampton Court for her is concerned he is 'powerless', it being in the gift of the queen.
